ENFP

So we took a personality test this morning. I am ENFP, Very cool!
Keirsey descriptions - Wikipedia's ENFP Article
Champions delight in novelty. They are optimistic, enthusiastic, and vivacious, craving expressions of strong emotion. With a dramatic flair, they share their experiences with others, hoping to reveal some universal truth or win others over in support of a cause. Attuned to possibilities, Champions scan their environment, probing the emotions, needs, and motivations of others. This sensitivity sometimes conflicts with their intense drive for personal authenticity. Spontaneous and personable, they attract others to their company.

I need to do all the research and work for finding out where I belong. This includes looking around at the career offices and maybe even treking to the local library or taking up temp work.

I'm looking into Aaron's Suggestion of using "Printable CEO" in order to track i$ and everything else on whats worth doing with the project.

Cleric

The movie starts shooting tomarrow at 7am, which 'll be cool, but i am upset. I was somehow expecting to make UB con as well, but Its looking like i may not even get to dr. Drew's by 7pm for the group.

I'll be working as Katie's personal gofur. She's the art/makeup/costume director. I'll also be working along side Aaron and a guy named Markus, doing sound. On Saturday morning I have a big deal going on putting boards down on one of the shooting sites, aperently we'll be the difference between life and a 40 foot drop, so I'll have to get my coffee and ninja shoes ready for that.

The business plan for Cyberjocks needs to start as soon as this movie is over. Theres only a little bit of time remaining before the end of the semester and it has to be excelent.

The List
So with the list I figure I'll change around the font color. I'll fill things in with a different color as i get them done. Most things are worth 2-4 bucks, but the more parts there are to them, the more i$ i'll assign.

One i$ will be worth one dollar or 10 minutes. The Incendiary Solution will spend i$ on new supplies, extra time for the project and invest for new ideas. Ultimately, The more I get accomplished in the other aspects of my life, the more time and energy and cash I allot for the project.

Cool, Huh?

Productivity.

Shazia And Alfred

So everything is coming back together, the room is still a bit of a mess, but things are cool.

You may notice the list has been moved to the right hand column. This means shorter posts, Yey!!.

Here at home, we've found a few new solutions. I have two computers hooked up, Shazia, which is a larger Acer laptop, and Alfred, which is a custom built ... well, desktop pc. For a while, Alfred has functioned as a standalone desktop, but Shazia fell out of use.

I've decided on a couple of things because of this. Alfred will become a media server. This means he'll control the media for my room and the music for the bathroom (I like to sing in the shower). We'll be running windows with the boxee alpha, as well as firefox for hulu. Shazia's main purpose will be for standard use operations, which i gotta say, not bad.

The next thing i'm looking for in this setup is a mounted can-tenna and pci slot wifi card. Its a good idea, but i don't think this'll happen anytime soon.

So we'll start out today with a small list of our Accomplishments.

:Accomplishments:
Find a book, Read a chapter
Drew Comp: Make the Switch
Home Comp: Get everything back to Normal

In the last few days, I found a book, in particular, Terry Pratchet's The Color of Magic. I hear its the first of the DiskWorld series by the same author, which is either a crazy time-sink or yet another Animorphs (Ref. I was hooked on Animorphs when I was younger.)

Ok, well its about time for a game, Its been a fair amount of time since I've played anything, and this'll actually let me get things done, so here we go. Every time I feel like it, I'll put up a list of the things I've gotten done on my to do list. I'll award myself points for how far I've gotten each time.

We'll start out with current rewards. For Finding a book and Reading a Chapter, I made 3i$. For making the switch, that was a little more intensive, it'll be 5i$. The getting things back to normal, I didn't finish, but i accomplished something with it, i'll give myself 2i$ now and 2i$ when i get everything done.

Currently!! I have 10i$. Stacks up, don't it?

We'll keep it short because I have work tomorrow morning.

For The Record

Listening to Pandora's Instrumental Folk station

Its about time for me to start keeping a journal. Days seem to go by quickly and indiscernible from one another.

So we have a new plan. We've changed from a technology route to an accounting route. Its not a bad thing, I think highly of it. Right now I'm still at ECC (Thats Erie County Community College), I've been for a few years, and its about time for me to move on to another school. I've obtained my Associates in General Studies, focused in business and.... well business. From there I'm getting my Entrepreneurship Certificate at the end of the semester, which makes it easier for me to get business loans (which i don't know if i want). But I'm hoping for some new opportunities to open up because of it.

I'm currently working at Panera bread, which is nice, but i personally think i've outgrown it. I just see potential everywhere and I feel like I'm a freaking genius going insane at a register all day, not to mention my feet tend to hurt from chilling in one place all day.

For my tech fund, I work for Dr. Drew Messer, not the famous guy. He does Video Game Therapy for kids with social 'difficulties', mostly with spectrums of autism and people who would be classically identified as Nerds, Geeks and Outcasts. That started off like an internship and turned into an 'as needed' position. (I still havn't filed the paperwork through school) I keep on telling him i want to be a part time employee at 10-16 hours a week, but he says to get in line and the business hasn't grown to the point where he can hire me on. We're hoping this works out to our advantage and will turn into a decent position but we're not putting all our eggs in one basket.

Apart from work, i'm supposed to be working on this movie set with Aaron K. My old boss from Cyberjocks. I don't think that it'll lead me anywhere, but it'll be nice to get back on the set. (I used to work camera for public access television for the Mary Davis Show. It was a nice gig, but I always felt out of place because I was the only white guy on set.... well maybe thats not entirely true, I felt like I couldn't talk and socially awkward because I was the only white guy there, but as for being there I felt totally comfortable.) I don't know if my camera experience will go anywhere, but i can always hope.

Anyways, the film, i'll be an intern so no cash this time, and it'll be nice to get some real experience. The production seems kind of flimsy and comedic, its called Cleric, some Cyberpunk thing. Lots of muck seems to be going into the production, so that'll be cool.

As for the future, things look kind of bright, although we're not sure which tunnel to take or where said tunnels will lead.

Know This!!!
This blog is more for me than you!!
I put things in here for me, and I take the Yatzee aproach to Readers. If you want to follow along, thats fine, but you'r going to catch some of my own personal crap along the way.
